A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development / Sales Executive to join our expanding company and industry leading beauty brand.

Purpose of Role:


Sales & Business Development plays a key role for Nouveau Lashes, and there are several teams within this function. We have teams looking after existing customers, new business, customer services, key accounts. We are now looking to add a new function that is aimed at targeting existing Lash technicians / Salons, with a view to bring them over to the Nouveau side.


This will mean conducting outbound call activity, contacting lash technicians trained at other academies and converting them to train with Nouveau Lashes. In turn, this will increase footfall of lash technicians and add to the expansion of customer database.


As a Sales Executive / Business Development Exective, you’ll nurture, grow and expand such accounts, pitching unique selling points of training with Nouveau Lashes, give post training support offered and discuss products available to purchase as well as access to our Resource Hub.



Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • Profile accounts, meeting the criteria of LVL and Extend Conversion courses, establishing current training provider, reasons for wanting to convert to NL and any plans for expansion. Furthermore you'll discuss features, advantages and benefits of training with Nouveau Lashes
  • Ensure monthly revenue targets are met in line with budgets set, creating a strategy to achieve targets and reviewing pipeline for future months
  • Create a retail strategy for Conversion converts, ensuring retail items are sold as an affiliation of lash treatments
  • Manage Sales pipeline and call backs within CRM, ensuring customers are contacted in a timely manner, providing all details of course date availability and venues
  • Work through new lead sources ie. Webform, Info@ executing training bookings and product sales, providing a great customer experience
  • Convert lash technicians advertising as LVL trained however not qualified and certified with Nouveau Lashes. Such technicians are infringing brand protection.
  • Providing them with an opportunity to train with NL, reaping full certification and endorsement to purchase NL products
  • Cross sell both Product and Training courses.
  • Ensure sufficient outbound call activity is performed to achieve budgets set
  • Liaise with marketing team on lead generation, creating marketing assets which will allow you to build new business relationships through to sale, ensuring a smooth transition to NL
  • To measure success rate of each campaign, gathering reports on bookings and conversion rates
  • Feedback success rate of campaigns to marketing team, replicating the most effective campaigns for future use
  • Liaise with Marketing team, considering GDPR when reviewing targeted audience reach. To correctly manage customer marketing preferences
  • Ensure all data captured from customers are populated to the correct areas within CRM/Magento
  • Ensure all accounts are managed correctly, providing great service, excellence, solution selling and relationship building
  • Ettend exhibitions and events where NL exhibit their brand, training & product profiles



About You - Our Ideal Person:


  • Experience in a Telephone sales / business development environment, and B2B experience preferred but not essential
  • An experienced sales executive, proven to have met and exceeded targets
  • Commercial thinker, clear understanding of how to help our customers and their businesses grow 
  • Great relationship builder and effective communicator with people at all levels
  • Excellent at prioritisation and organising, able to create task lists and work a pipeline of leads effectively
  • Knowledge of the salon and beauty industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a wider team
  • Healthy competitive outlook towards personal sales targets and driving together for the team target too
  • Positive, passionate and professional outlook and approach
  • Willing to learn and grow continually and drive performance upwards
  • Knowledge of the UK Salon/Spa industry or Beauty/Fashion Market is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • International sales experience is beneficial

  • A competitive salary, relevant to experience and skill set (between £18 - 20,000) + uncapped commission and OTE Potential typically between £25,000 & £30,000 per annum.
