Purpose of Role:

 

To develop key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans, ensuring these are delivered in order to meet financial targets. Responsibilities include motivating the Group sales teams and managing UK sales, hitting annual sales and profitability targets, launching new products into the marketplace, building relationships, understanding customer trends and ensuring customer service standards are high and constantly improved. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director; work in partnership with the Commercial Director on budgets and planning, subsequently setting accurate revenue targets, KPIs and commission plans for Group sales teams
  • Develop and execute UK sales strategies designed to achieving sales and profitability targets whilst maximising Group competitiveness and innovation
  • Track, analyse and identify sales trends, developing and implementing solutions for improvement or change where appropriate
  • Supervise, lead and mentor the Group Sales Managers
  • Ensure CRM is being used effectively and is developed in-line with evolving business needs
  • Continue to evolve and build the sales pipeline and lead tracking processes, ensuring they maximise both new sales opportunities and ongoing customer retention 
  • Ensure a collaborative working style, high morale and a positive culture is maintained across the sales teams 
  • Drive a culture of professionalism across the teams through effective sales recruitment, induction, training and coaching 
  • Continually improve our customer service procedures, policies and standards, 
  • Ensure a continued focus on high standards of customer service excellence, improving wherever possible our procedures, policies, standards and their implementation
  • Keep abreast of relevant beauty landscapes and trends
  • Build the Group customer base in-line with customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth objectives
  • Seek out major customers, form working relationships with key trade partners and act as a business representative at major industry events, conferences and trade shows
  • Work collaboratively and positively with key stakeholders throughout the Group to ensure business objectives are achieved
