Purpose of Role:

The Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the inception and delivery of the overall group recruitment strategy for each of our industry leading companies; Nouveau Beauty Group (KB Pro), HD Brows, Nouveau Lashes and Karen Betts Ltd.

This involves coordinating end to end recruitment activity and developing effective recruitment strategies to attract the best candidates to meet our business needs; finding the right people for the right role at the right price at the right time. 

Our business has varied and multiskilled teams. Meaning an understanding of the a wide range of vacancies, managers, teams, and future growth plans is vital to creating effective recruitment marketing campaigns, attracting strong candidates and a continuous talent pipeline, delivering a strong candidate experience and an in-house recruitment support to internal stakeholders – and provide advice and recommendation to the business in its overall Talent Management ambition.

Reporting to the Head of Organisation and Development, you would also be involved in developing internal employee training and development, including our onboarding and induction processes

Naturally, there will be a vested interest and involvement in other / wider HR strategies to improve relevant initiatives such as retention rates, benefits packages, succession planning, performance management and overall internal culture.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of recruitment activity – from initial inception, internal consultation, advertising, screening, shortlisting, interviewing along with our line management, offering and inducting.
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of the overall talent acquisition / recruitment strategy
  • Support our ambition to build a reputation as a great place to work internally and externally; improving and maintaining our employer branding
  • Ensure a strong candidate experience with clear communication and feedback throughout
  • Schedule and coordinate all interview and assessment centre activity
  • Accountable for recruitment spend in line with recruitment budget; ensuring efficient cost per hire, and improve speed/quality
  • Responsibility in ensuring we comply with recruitment related employment law and keep ahead of change in this area of best practice and compliance
  • Accountable for the development and management applicant tracker systems (ATS) ensuring effective data capture and efficient recruitment processes

About You - Our Ideal Person:

  • Experience in an internal recruitment / talent acquisition role
  • Experience working on multiple / varied range of vacancies simultaneously
  • Relevant qualification in training and/or HR preferred but not essential
  • Ability to put forth new ideas and solutions
  • A confident interviewer, with experience of running assessment centres and the entire recruitment process
  • Commercially astute AND creative thinker
  • Excellent people skills – ability to build rapport internally and externally
  • Experience of the Beauty Industry is useful but not essential
  • A background in training and internal communication could be of real benefit for the future development of the position.
