Purpose of Role:

Sales & Business Development plays a key role for Nouveau Lashes. The purpose of the Sales Exectuive / Business Development Executive is to liaise with customers purchasing Nouveau Lashes Products and/or making bookings Nouveau Lashes Training courses.


As aSales Executive / Business Development Execuitve, you'll pitch the features, advantages and benefits of customers making enquiries about training, recommending the correct solution for their business. You'll deal with any complaints and queries on customer accounts ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll be retaining customers at risk of leaving, potentially switching to another training/product provider, and nurture accounts ensuring net growth.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Achieve maximum revenue from Product/Training sales and account penetration
  • Ensure customers are upsold Products & Training where possible and informed of any special offers
  • Sell retail bundle offers in line with targets set by Sales & Service Manager by performing trade against retail prices and margins/ profit made to customer
  • Present self in a professional way, communicating well with customers in line with the NL vision and values
  • Ensure training classroom capacity is filled in line with budgetary figures and individual targets
  • Ensure Training bookings are taken for the current and following month where possible ensuring budgetary figures are met 
  • Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
  • Discuss the unique selling points of products and training courses to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs. Ensure solution selling
  • Effective questioning, establish customer needs for new/additional Products & Training services
  • Cross sell both Product and Training courses. Adopting the natural attitude of booking training, followed by selling NL products 
  • Build and record within CRM, a pipeline of customers interested in Training with NL
  • Work through new lead sources ie. Webform, Info@ executing training bookings and product sales, providing a great customer experience
  • Apply a diary system managing call-backs & tasks efficiently, disposing of tasks proving non productive in a timely manner
  • Ensure all data captured from customers are populated to the correct areas within CRM/Magento
  • Update key information on CRM. Ie complaint call, data collection etc


About You - Our Ideal Sales Ecutive:

  • Experience in a Telephone sales executive or business development environment, and B2B experience preferred but not essential
  • An experienced sales person proven to have met and exceeded targets
  • Commercial thinker, clear understanding of how to help our customers and their businesses grow 
  • Great relationship builder and effective communicator with people at all levels
  • Excellent at prioritisation and organising, able to create task lists and work a pipeline of leads effectively
  • Knowledge of the salon and beauty industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a wider team
  • Healthy competitive outlook towards personal sales targets and driving together for the team target too
  • Positive, passionate and professional outlook and approach
  • Willing to learn and grow continually and drive performance upwards
  • Knowledge of the UK Salon/Spa industry or Beauty/Fashion Market is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • International sales experience is beneficial
